What is roadside service?
Roadside Service is a service that no other florist around offers. It allows you to make purchases right from your car. Just like a drive thru window - this is a drive up flower service! Whether it's a festive poinsettia plant around the Christmas season, a dozen roses for your Valentine, or a "Just because" bouquet in the spring and summer you will be sure to find this service convenient.
When is Roadside Service available?
Roadside Service is available in the spring and summer months 6 days a week Monday through Friday from 8:30-6:00 and Saturday from 9-3 (times and days are subject to change). In the fall and winter months we take a weather permitting approach to this service due to the colder days with the exception of Christmas and Valentine's Day. During these holidays you can expect to see us outside for your convenience.
Where is Roadside Service available?
Roadside Service is available at our Middletown location only (Carlone's Green End Florist). We are located at 174 Green End Avenue in Middletown, RI. Our store is at the split of Green End Ave. and Miantanomi (near the Green End pond ). If you are traveling down Miantanomi we will be on the right hand side just before the stop sign.
How does Roadside Service work?
Roadside Service works a couple of different ways: The best way to utilize this service is coming down the Miantonmi hill - you will find our store on the right. This way you can either pull out of traffic and drive right up to the side of the building, OR if you happen to be stuck in traffic, WE will come to YOU! If you are traveling up the hill and you want to make a purchase outside, pull right into the parking lot and we will be sure to serve you.
How will I know what you're selling outside?
Every time we are open for Roadside Service we will have our "Roadside Service" board displayed outside. On this board we will list the item that we are selling for that day and its price. Bouquets will range from $5 to $25 depending on what they consist of.
Why should I utilize Roadside Service?
Roadside Service should be utilized for many reasons. If you like quality flowers and a convenient one of a kind service…then this is for you! Just think - if you are driving home from work and you are in a hurry but you want to pick up a bouquet for your loved one you can buy right from your car and drive away within seconds! There is nothing better then being able to make someone smile with flowers.
