Peter and Margaret Carlone
Peter and Margaret Carlone started Carlone's Florist in the cellar of their Portsmouth, Rhode Island home in November 1954. In 1957 they remodeled the garage and built a new store. For 44 years Peter and Peg ran a successful and award winning business. They retired in 1998. Peg still helps out on holidays but Pete passed away in October 2000. Their daughter, Carol, continues to operate the business in the same location.

In October 2004, Carol and her son Brian opened a second location, Carlone's Green End Florist in Middletown, RI. This 3rd generation shop brings more of an innovative style to Carlone's Florist.

Roadside service is a new feature available at the Middletown store. Customers receive Carlone's quality flowers and service in a quick and convinient way. We come to you - right to your car as you drive down the hill.

Both shops are dedicated to continuing the same level of excellence that customers have appreciated for over 51 years. The Carlone family is the only 3rd generation florist in Rhode Island with 2 locations.
